Overview
The center of Dubailand is where you'll find DAMAC Hills residential community, formerly known as Akoya by DAMAC. The residential community was launched in August 2013 and was promoted as "The Beverly Hills of Dubai".
The project's master developer is DAMAC Properties, which is best recognized for conceptualizing and finishing a number of opulent GCC residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
DAMAC Hills is a collection of mixed-use buildings covering 42 million sq. ft. with a championship golf course, private parkland, and a multi- purpose arena. It has townhouses, 3,008 villas, and 4,335 apartments including studios and 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units.
DAMAC Hills is composed of three major parts
- Akoya Park: is a vast 4 million sq. ft. park comprising tranquil residencies, walkways and watercourse.
- Akoya Drive: It is planned to be a commercial district with upscale restaurants, shops, and family-friendly amenities. Akoya Drive is inspired by Beverly Hills' Rodeo Drive and Paris' Champs Elysees.
- The Trump International Golf Club: is a prominent aspect of the neighborhood. The 18-hole golf course is also home to the Trump Clubhouse, which is in the center of the neighborhood and offers restaurants, modern swimming pools, gyms, and a health club.

DAMAC Hills is situated along Umm Suqeim Road with easy access to the city's main road networks and close proximity to all of the important business and entertainment areas.
